BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
Program Manager (Non-Profit) manages a team coordinating programs for a non-profit organization. Designs programs that align with the organization’s mission and support the organization's goals. Being a Program Manager establishes funding and development goals, identifies potential donors or funding sources, and plans outreach strategies.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Schedules and forecasts planning for special events that publicize the organization and its programs to the community.
· Assist in the development of grant applications or proposals.
· Reports to a department head.
· Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
· First-level manager.
· Ensures project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
· Has full authority for personal actions.
· Extensive knowledge of department processes.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
· Requires a bachelor’s degree.
· Typically requires five years of experience in the related area as an individual contributor.
· 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience may be required.
